Responsibilities:

  • Perform general accounting and other related duties for the organization, including duties related to month-end close and year-end close.
  • Research, analyze, and prepare account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and enter Journal Entries.
  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly, verify deposits, and address discrepancies.
  • Prepare and calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual filings for state and local government
    agencies.
  • Maintain internal records to ensure compliance with state and local entities.
  • Track and maintain files for internal and external reporting, including fixed assets, journal
    entries, and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile credit card statements
  • Assist Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments as needed.
  • Understand and adhere to the company’s internal controls and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of general financial accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, proven intermediate skills with Excel.
  • Solid mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Training Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Guide staff and volunteers in 18 locations across the state of Indiana
  • Coordinate screenings, applications, background checks, and training
  • Collaborate with management on budget for promotional materials, supplies, and cost of training
