Now hiring for an Indianapolis Benefits Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Gather documentation required for leaves of absence, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, ADA leave, etc.
- Submit documentation to and communicate with third party administrator
- Track leaves and follow up as required with the employee and third party administrator
- Ensure Workers’ Compensation program is managed and compliant with OSHA and laws
- Review, monitor, and process billing for benefits monthly
- Assist in the preparation of new hire orientation, background checks, references, and trainings
- Oversee the return to work process for employees coming back to work
- Maintain accurate records of leave and accommodation requests that align with legal requirements and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience in LOA, FMLA, ADA, and Workers’ Comp OR 10 years of experience in place of education required
- High-volume claim management experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
