Now hiring for an Indianapolis Benefits Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather documentation required for leaves of absence, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, ADA leave, etc.
  • Submit documentation to and communicate with third party administrator
  • Track leaves and follow up as required with the employee and third party administrator
  • Ensure Workers’ Compensation program is managed and compliant with OSHA and laws
  • Review, monitor, and process billing for benefits monthly
  • Assist in the preparation of new hire orientation, background checks, references, and trainings
  • Oversee the return to work process for employees coming back to work
  • Maintain accurate records of leave and accommodation requests that align with legal requirements and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience in LOA, FMLA, ADA, and Workers’ Comp OR 10 years of experience in place of education required
  • High-volume claim management experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and hiring processes.
  • Manage team relations, disputes, and disciplinary actions.
  • Advise on HR issues during weekly campus consultations.
  • Address workplace issues with communication and problem-solving.
  • Support administration of pay, benefits, and leave programs.
  • Ensure team development and growth plans.
  • Maintain and analyze team data.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and evolving team needs.
  • Foster continuous improvement by optimizing processes and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, business, management or a related field, required
  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources
  • Paylocity experience preferred
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and change directions quickly according to network needs
  • Self-starter, ability to set and meet goals, and a desire to excel
  • Must be a hands-on leader, not afraid to roll up their sleeves

This is a hybrid schedule.
