Now hiring for an Indianapolis Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions at a newly acquired company.
- Manage daily A/R tasks, including progress billing with or without AIA forms, invoicing, customer receipts, and collections.
- Handle daily A/P processes, including vendor setup, PO matching, bill recording, and payments.
- Monitor cash management, intercompany billings, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Lead and develop an accounting team (3-5 direct reports).
- Support month-end close, audits, and process improvements.
- Assist with HR functions, including payroll and benefits administration.
Qualifications:
- Construction industry experience required; AIA billing expertise preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with WIP accounting.
- Prior experience leading or supervising accounting teams.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
This is an in-office position.
