Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the successful on-boarding of new employees to ensure that all payroll, benefit, and employee files are established correctly and in full legal compliance
  • Complete offboarding including exit interviews that comply with legal requirements
  • Handle employee relations and disciplinary issues
  • Process bi-weekly payroll, quarterly commissions, and bonuses, and assist with year-end preparations and monthly invoicing
  • Administer employee benefits programs and help employees understand and enroll in their benefits and LOA/COBRA administration
  • Maintain knowledge of labor laws and keep employee handbook and policies up to date
  • Update and maintain the HR database, employee records, and reporting

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations required
  • 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources required
  • Experience processing full cycle payroll required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience or combination) required
  • SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP, PHR/SPHR, or similar certification preferred
  • Proficient in HRIS software and Microsoft Office
  • Able to prioritize and organize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Paylocity highly preferred

This position is hybrid with the first 30 days being in the office 4 days a week and 1 remotely then transitioning to 3 days in the office and 2 remotely.
