Now hiring for an Indianapolis Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Perform funds-based accounting and manage grants
- Support all advancement finances, including database infrastructure and fund management
- Lead Foundation audit processes and assist with internal audits
- Oversee annual charitable registration renewal process
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide chapter support as needed and define/document standard operating procedures
- Assist with projects and special initiatives as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, required
- 2+ years of foundation accounting experience, required
- Strong analytical skills with a “trust but verify” mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growing organization with the ability to handle complex tasks
This position is hybrid, with 2 days in office.
