Now hiring for an Indianapolis Business Collections Clerk.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts and payment activity
- Follow up on past-due balances. Investigate and resolve account issues
- Maintain accurate customer records
- Review account aging and payment status
- Partner with internal teams to address concerns
- Process account adjustments and updates
- Support additional accounting functions as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous collections, accounts receivable, or customer service experience. NO CONSUMER COLLECTIONS
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Excel and business software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Transportation, logistics, manufacturing, or related industry experience is a plus
