Responsibilities:
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to assess staffing needs and develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies
- Contribute to sourcing efforts using diverse channels such as resume databases, networking, academic institutions, community organizations, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment events
- Conduct preliminary candidate screenings to ensure alignment with job qualifications and organizational fit
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and stay up to date on emerging tools and techniques for talent identification
- Maintain and update a talent pool database, including passive candidates, for future hiring needs
- Support the coordination and execution of recruitment events, such as job fairs and networking functions
- Collaborate with recruiters to design and implement recruitment marketing plans
- Aid in recruiting efforts for hard-to-fill or specialized positions within designated client groups
Qualifications:
- Foundational knowledge of recruitment sourcing strategies and techniques required
- Familiar with candidate screening, interviewing, selection, and assessment processes
- Entry-level experience leveraging electronic media, social networks, internet research, and professional associations for sourcing talent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on understanding client needs and delivering a positive experience, are required
- Open and adaptable to learning new tools and technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
