Accountant

Now hiring for an Indianapolis Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Perform funds-based accounting and manage grants
• Support all advancement finances, including database infrastructure and fund management
• Lead Foundation audit processes and assist with internal audits
• Oversee annual charitable registration renewal process
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide chapter support as needed and define/document standard operating procedures
• Assist with projects and special initiatives as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, required
• 2+ years of foundation accounting experience, required
• Strong analytical skills with a “trust but verify” mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growing organization with the ability to handle complex tasks

This position is hybrid, with 2 days in office.
