Now hiring for an Indianapolis Accounts Payable Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Match purchase orders to invoices, and submit invoices
  • Charge expenses to accounts and analyze reports
  • Pay vendors weekly
  • Process 1099’s annually
  • Control expenses and maintain general ledger
  • Prepare journal vouchers and reclassification
  • Reconcile statements and transactions
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of taxes
  • Assist Accounts Payable Supervisor and Controller with requests or projects as needed by Finance, Accounting, and the Senior Leadership Team
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational information and proprietary business relationships

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Accounting experience required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 3+ years of AP experience
  • Peoplesoft or ImageNow experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Identify and solve problems/address issues quickly
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Adaptability and flexibility as priorities change and responsibilities broaden with increased knowledge and experience
