AR / Insurance Specialist

Now hiring for a Greenwood AR / Insurance Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain up to date knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding
• Adhere to Corporate Confidentiality Policy
• Procure final resolution of all insurance owed balances and file insurance claims
• Provide documentation to support write-offs and adjustments to accounts
• Assist with inquiries relating to appeals and collection activity

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in collection of medical account
• Knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-10 coding
• Knowledge of billing computer software – NextGen preferred
• Experience managing the denial process for insurance claims
