Senior Bookkeeper
Now hiring for an Indianapolis Senior Bookkeeper.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct bank reconciliation and journal entries to create monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Prepare and process payroll including paying payroll taxes and quarterly and annual reporting
- Maintain and update QuickBooks files
- Prepare sales tax
- Collaborate with the accounting team to achieve company goals
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience required; preference given to those with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- Previous experience as an Accountant or Staff Accountant required
- Previous experience processing full cycle payroll preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work independently and in a team setting
This position is hybrid, 1 day remote and 4 in-office.
