Now hiring for an Indianapolis Controller.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including oversight of AP and general ledger maintenance
  • Review daily credit card and bank activity; maintain and distribute cash flow reports
  • Approve spending requests and support insurance and bonding documentation
  • Reconcile weekly payroll and related entries across multiple entities
  • Oversee month-end close, revenue review, accruals, WIP adjustments, and tax payments
  • Support annual audits and licensing/registration renewals
  • Analyze job costing, maintain WIP schedules, and ensure inventory controls
  • Supervise accounting staff and uphold financial best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or contracting
  • Experience with job cost accounting, AIA billings, WIP, and project close-outs
  • Leadership experience in a financial function
  • Proficiency with accounting systems like Foundation or QuickBooks
  • Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and collaborate across teams
