Part-Time Facilities Specialist
Now hiring for a Carmel Part-Time Facilities Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and repairs for facilities and equipment
- Set up and tear down for events
- Complete minor repairs, painting, and general handyperson tasks
- Manage communication with vendors
- Monitor and replenish kitchen and maintenance supplies
- Respond promptly to urgent facility issues or emergencies and communicate maintenance needs and project updates to leadership
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3 years of facilities experience or event experience required
- Must be a good communicator as this person will interact with organizational leaders, vendors, inspectors, etc.
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor required
This is an in-office position. The hours would be 24-30 hours a week based on activities going on at church. Might require evenings or weekends if there is a wedding or an event (1-2 times a quarter).
