Now hiring for an Indianapolis Human Resources Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute all HR functions.
- Manage hands-on HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Partner closely with executive leadership and department managers on HR operations, employee relations, and organizational needs.
- Develop, clean up, consolidate, and maintain HR documentation, including job descriptions, policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and leadership regarding policies, procedures, and employment matters.
- Administer and manage HR systems.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for professional, technical, administrative, internship, and early career roles, including university relations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain required HR documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Progressive, hands-on HR experience with ownership of HR operations.
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR data management.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and remain comfortable in a hands-on individual contributor role.
This position is in the office, Monday-Thursday 7a-5p, and half day on Fridays.
