Installation Scheduler
Now hiring for an Indianapolis Installation Scheduler.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling of installations, repairs, and maintenance services according to customer requirements and technician availability.
- Communicate with customers to confirm appointment times, provide service updates, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate closely with field technicians to ensure they have the necessary resources and information to complete their assignments efficiently.
- Monitor job progress and address any issues or delays that may arise, implementing solutions to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, including customer information, job details, and technician notes.
- Assist with inventory management and procurement of materials and equipment required for installations and service activities.
- Provide administrative support to the installation and service team, including data entry, active project notation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in a coordination or administrative role, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office suite and scheduling software.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Adaptability and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Knowledge of installation and service processes, terminology, and industry standards is a plus.
