Now hiring for a South Bend Labor Relations Associate.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for employees regarding employee relations issues
  • Investigate reports and provide guidance that aligns with policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with managers to implement accommodations for employees and maintain those records for employees
  • Monitor trends and provide insight to leadership and areas for improvement that align with company goals
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field highly preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience in employee relations with a focus on conflict resolution and performance management required
  • Background in a large or multi-location company preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, shared services, or COE environments is a plus
  • SPHR certification is a plus
  • Proficiency with PeopleSoft and/or ServiceNow is helpful but not required

Location & Travel:

  • Although this position is remote, the candidate MUST reside in the South Bend, IN area, as there will be frequent on-site presence in Kalamazoo, MI, Three Rivers, MI, and South Bend, IN.
  • Must be able to travel quickly when needed for negotiations, investigations, or high-priority issues.
