Now hiring for an Indianapolis Part-time Payroll and HR Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll by reviewing timecards, ensuring accurate coding, and submitting through ADP
- Serve as the main point of contact with ADP and for employees with payroll questions
- Review time entries for missed punches, deductions, and accuracy before submission
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Enter employee pay, status changes, and benefit elections into the system
- Coordinate background checks and maintain employee records
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of payroll experience, required
- Experience working in ADP, preferred
- Strong attention to detail with an organized and process-driven approach
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Reliable, disciplined, and comfortable working independently
This role is hybrid with 1 day in the office. This is a part-time role that would require up to 20 hours per week.
