Part-time HR Generalist
Now hiring for an Indianapolis Part-time HR Generalist.
Responsibilities:
- Help manage the hiring process by reviewing candidates, coordinating with the hiring team, conducting phone interviews, scheduling interviews, and completing reference checks and screenings.
- Answer employee questions about company policies and benefits.
- Assist with collecting information for reports and filings.
- Keep employee records organized and up to date according to company rules.
- Update employee information in the HR system.
- Stay informed about employment laws related to leave, pay, and benefits to help ensure compliance and reduce legal risks.
- Provide timely and accurate support to employees.
- Support the HR Director with daily tasks and department operations.
- Complete other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills are required
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Comfortable working independently
- A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of HR experience are preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required
This is a part-time position targeting 15-20 hours/week.
The duration of the assignment is predicted to last 3-5 months.
