Now hiring for an Indianapolis Payroll Accountant.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the tasks and workflow to meet the biweekly payroll schedules by collecting, reviewing, and maintaining time and attendance records
  • Collaborate with Payroll team members on multi-state payroll processing for approximately 3,200 union employees and 300 non-union support staff and managers
  • Manage monthly maintenance of union benefit and rate changes based on contract updates
  • Collaborate with external auditors on frequent union benefit audits; reconcile deficiencies
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Manage HRIS
  • Provide support to the Accounting Department

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of Payroll experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll processing programs
  • A general understanding of the accounting process; strong analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
