Now hiring for an Indianapolis Payroll Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Lead payroll processing activities and support resolution of payroll-related issues.
- Coach, mentor, and support payroll team members while fostering accountability and ownership.
- Coordinate audits, maintain documentation, and support payroll compliance activities.
- Review and maintain payroll records, employee data, and related information.
- Develop and maintain payroll procedures, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Train team members and provide guidance on payroll processes and best practices.
- Identify payroll discrepancies, recommend solutions, and support process improvements.
- Analyze payroll data and support special projects and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of payroll processing experience preferred.
- Experience working in a high-volume or complex payroll environment preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP.
- Leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team development abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, accountability, and strong time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. Union and multi-state payroll experience are helpful but not required.
This position is hybrid (1 day remote) once training is complete and trust is established.
