Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support, including processing overnight shipping, ordering supplies, coordinating service repairs, and maintaining mailing lists.
  • Receive, scan, and distribute daily faxes, prescriptions, surgery sheets, and other documents into charts and EMR.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable by receiving invoices, issuing checks, processing credit card payments, matching receipts, handling petty cash, and filing.
  • Assist with human resources-related administrative tasks as needed.
  • Support Cornea Course administration, including registrations, packet preparation, and conference setup and breakdown.
  • Assist with office operations such as employee gatherings, lunchroom organization, kitchen restocking, errands, and Google reviews.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with some college credits.
  • Some previous medical office experience.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and proficiency in Word.
  • Strong organizational skills, good math skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, confidentiality, and ability to be coached.

This is an in-office position, Monday- Friday 7:30a-4p or 8a-4:30p.

Contract Staff Accountant

Now hiring for an Indianapolis Contract Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cash management activities, including rejected transactions and day-to-day cash exceptions.
  • Coordinate with accounts receivable and treasury teams on cash-related issues.
  • Complete month-end cash reconciliations with a goal of full reconciliation by Day 2.
  • Clear customer rebates in SAP to ensure timely processing and prevent outstanding AR balances.
  • Process approximately 10–15 recurring staff-level journal entries using SAP load files, including prepaids and accruals.
  • Post and manage recurring entries related to deposits, rebates, insurance, accruals, intercompany reclasses, and corporate allocations.
  • Support straight accounting close activities and exception handling; role does not include inventory costing or LIFO analysis.

Qualifications:

  • SAP experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including lookups and pivot tables; some exposure to macros.
  • Ability to accept direct feedback, adapt quickly, and remain productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, communicative, and comfortable holding others accountable for required information.

This contract position is expected to last 8-12 weeks. and is 100% in the office.
