Medical Billing Representative

Now hiring for an Indianapolis Medical Billing Representative

Responsibilities:

• Process outstanding AR claims from payors
• Determine accounts to be sent to collections
• Maintain payor files, information, and fee schedules
• Prepare appeals as necessary
• Follow up on all accounts including with insurance companies
• Ensure timely billing of accounts in the appropriate form
• Respond to inquiries from insurance companies, patients, and other billing-related calls

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• General knowledge of CPT and ICD codes required
• 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Medical billing system experience required
• Experience with SIS or Advantix preferred
