Now hiring for an Indianapolis Staff Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for month-end closing duties, including journal entries and reconciling the general ledger
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Maintain balance sheet schedules and income statement analysis
- Assist with processing AR, AP, and various day-to-day accounting tasks
- Help with treasury management
- Review monthly statements for various entities prepared by other team members
- Document and create accounting procedures
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent is required
- A minimum of three years of accounting experience is required
- Experience using QuickBooks and Excel required
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

- Generate customer invoices, direct shipments, credits, and rebills daily
- Process cash receipts including ACH payments, credit cards, and checks in a timely manner
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to assist with month-end close
- Conduct weekly reports on sales, invoicing, aging, inventory, and more
- Accurately maintain vendor information and documentation in the database
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or related field plus 2+ years of accounting or AR experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Experience in Epicor Prophet preferred
