Now hiring for an Indianapolis Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations and general ledger activity.
  • Lead and support a team of five across A/R, A/P, collections, and junior accounting.
  • Managing month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Support inventory and cost accounting processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Assist with audit preparation and participation during close periods.
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for leadership.
  • Identify process improvements and ensure GAAP compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years of manufacturing accounting experience.
  • Strong GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory knowledge.
  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred, Sage 100 a plus.
  • Clear communicator with strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Professional, discreet, and adaptable in fast-paced, team-based environments.

This position is in office, 8a-5p.

This contract position is expected to last 2-3 months, with an immediate start.
